Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy – Monarch Garments
At Monarch Garments, we strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Please read the following policy carefully to understand the conditions governing returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges (Online Orders)
Return / Exchange Window
- Requests must be raised within 3 days from the date of delivery.
- Requests raised beyond this period will not be accepted.
Eligible Product Categories
Returns and exchanges are permitted only for the following categories:
- Kurtas, Bundis
- Sherwanis, Indo-Western outfits
- Bandhgalas, Dinner Jackets
- Pattu & Pancha
- Mojaris and Footwear
Non-Eligible Categories
- Buttons
- Accessories
These items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Product Condition Requirements
All items must:
- Be unused, unworn, and unwashed
- Be unaltered and in original condition
- Include original tags, labels, and packaging
If a product does not meet these conditions, the pickup may be declined.
How to Initiate a Return (Online Purchases)
- Log in to My Account
- Navigate to My Orders
- Select the relevant product
- Choose Return
Once the request is approved:
- Pickup details will be shared via email/SMS
- Pickup is generally completed within 2–3 working days
- The pickup executive will inspect the item at the time of collection
If a pickup is denied and you believe the rejection is unjustified, please contact Customer Support with clear product images.
Note: Products purchased online can only be returned through the website. Returns are not accepted at physical stores.
Exchange Policy (Online Orders)
Exchange Conditions
- Exchanges are permitted only for the same product in a different size, subject to availability.
- Exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
- Exchange requests can be placed only online.
Exchange Process
- Go to My Account → My Orders
- Select the product
- Choose Exchange
- Select the required size
If you are unable to place the request online, please contact Customer Support.
Additional Exchange Rules
- Exchanges are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned product.
- Free reverse pickup is applicable for eligible exchanges.
- If the requested size is unavailable, Brand Credits will be issued.
- Exchange is not permitted if the product’s MRP has changed after purchase.
Note: Online orders cannot be exchanged at physical stores.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products (Online Orders)
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery
- Email us at contactus@monarchgarments.co.in with:
- A clear unboxing video showing the issue (mandatory)
- Images of the product with visible price tag
Our team will review the request and, after verification, arrange a replacement or refund.
Requests reported after 24 hours may require extended investigation time (up to 30 days).
Monarch Garments reserves the right to determine eligibility for replacement or refund.
In-Store Purchases
- Products purchased from physical Monarch Garments stores are not eligible for return.
- Exchange is permitted within 30 days of purchase at any Monarch Garments store in India.
- Products must be unused, unaltered, and in original condition.
Exchange Options for In-Store Purchases
- Same product in a different size, or
- Another product of equal or higher MRP (price difference to be paid)
No refund will be provided if the exchanged product is of lower value.
Order Cancellation Policy
Customer-Initiated Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled only before shipment.
- Once shipped, cancellation is not permitted.
- To modify an order, please cancel the existing order and place a new one.
Steps to Cancel:
- Log in to My Account → My Orders
- Select the product
- Choose Cancel
Brand-Initiated Cancellation
In rare cases, if a product fails quality checks or becomes unavailable:
- The order may be cancelled by Monarch Garments
- The customer will be informed within 5–6 days of order placement
- The full amount will be refunded to the original payment method
Refund Timelines
- Returns: Refund is initiated once the product is successfully picked up
- Cancellations: Refund is initiated within 2–3 business days of cancellation confirmation
Actual credit timelines depend on bank or payment gateway processing cycles.
Mode of Refund
- Refunds are processed to the original mode of payment only
- Bank account details cannot be changed once a refund is initiated
- If an exchange cannot be fulfilled due to unavailability, Brand Credits will be issued
